Privacy Policy

Last updated · January 2025

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how SocBridge ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit socbridge.com or use our services. By using our site or submitting your information through our forms, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this policy.

Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly, including:

  • Name, email address, and phone number
  • Company name, company size, and SOC 2 certification goals
  • Any additional information you include in open-text fields

We may also collect standard technical data such as browser type, IP address, referring pages, and pages visited, typically through cookies and analytics tools.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to consultation requests and schedule discovery calls
  • Provide SOC 2 compliance services and related communications
  • Send you relevant updates about SocBridge (you can opt out at any time)
  • Improve the functionality and content of our website
  • Comply with applicable legal obligations

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information with trusted service providers who help us operate our platform (e.g., email delivery, CRM tools), provided they agree to keep your information confidential and use it only to perform services on our behalf.

We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SocBridge or others.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use two categories of cookies and similar technologies.

Strictly necessary. These are always active because the site cannot work without them. They include the cookie that remembers your cookie choice, the session cookie that keeps you signed in to a vendor listing, and Google reCAPTCHA, which protects our public forms from automated abuse. These are not used for advertising or to build a profile of you.

Analytics and advertising. These load only if you press “Accept all” in our cookie banner, and never before. They are:

  • Google Tag Manager (Google) — the container that loads and manages the tags below; it can also load further measurement or advertising tags we add to it in future.
  • Google Analytics 4 (Google) — measures how the site is used, so we can improve it.
  • Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms) — measures the performance of our advertising and supports ad targeting.
  • Reddit Pixel (Reddit) — measures the performance of our advertising and supports ad targeting.

These providers receive your IP address and information about the pages you view, and they may combine it with data they already hold about you. Some are located outside the European Economic Area, so accepting may involve a transfer of your data to a country with different data protection rules.

Your choice. If you reject non-essential cookies, or simply ignore the banner, none of the tags above are loaded and no request is made to those providers. Rejecting is exactly as easy as accepting and does not limit your access to the site. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the Cookie Preferences link in the footer of every page. We will ask you again after about six months. You can also instruct your browser to refuse cookies, though some parts of the site may not function properly as a result.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. If you would like your data deleted, please contact us.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications at any time

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@success.socbridge.com.

Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Cookies on socbridge.com

Essential cookies keep this site working — including the reCAPTCHA that protects our forms — and are always on. With your consent we also load analytics and advertising tags (Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, the Meta Pixel and the Reddit Pixel), which share your IP address and browsing activity with those providers. Rejecting keeps everything non-essential switched off. Read our Privacy Policy — you can change your choice any time from the footer.
